Goldmark Diesel International Limited opened it's doors in 1977 when Ron Volkerink and his Dad, Bert Sr., combined their resources and formed B & R Diesel Service Limited. The company grew rapidly and in 1989, when his Dad retired, Ron became the sole owner and changed the name to Goldmark Diesel International Limited. To give a little background on our President, Ron graduated from Harry Ainlay High School and continued his education by attending N.A.I.T. in the Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic's program. He graduated in 1977. As the business kept expanding, Ron saw a need for a larger facility and custom built our current office building and 20,500 sq. ft. shop, complete with a 2000 H.P. Dynomometer and 700 KW Load Bank in-house for all the testing of rebuilt and used engines. We specialize in custom rebuilding of industrial diesel engines and generator sets for a wide variety of applications. We also offer two fully equipped field service trucks which are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our heavy duty mechanics on staff strive to provide top service to meet your needs.
Always endeavoring to provide excellent customer service, Goldmark opened it's own Parts Department in April 1995. We offer a complete line of Cat, GM, Cummins and Detroit engine parts as well as exchange cylinder heads, blocks and cranks. We are proud to be a Marathon Generator dealer and a Spinner Filter dealer.
In 1999, believing in quality and diversification and wanting to meet the needs of the oilfield, Goldmark opened its Mud Pump/Boiler Sales & Rental Division and commenced the selling and rentals of Triplex Mud Pumps and 100 H.P. diesel fired Boilers. Generator Sets were also added to the list of rentals units available.
Our friendly staff not only consists of our experienced, licensed Mechanics but also includes our Office Manager, Lynda Sopka who just celebrated her 30th anniversary with us. Bert Volkerink, Jr., our Parts Manager has also been on board for the past 30 years. Our exceptional, friendly, receptionist Bev Krysko just celebrated her 7th year anniversary with us. We are very grateful for our dedicated staff.
